JP lets blacks use his bathroom but he refuses to marry them to white people
Keith Bardwell a Louisiana Justice of Peace refused to issue a marriage license to an interracial couple but he does allow black people to use his bathroom!
Beth Humphrey, 30, and Terence McKay 32, were denied a license by Bardwell because Bardwell believes the children of such unions suffer and that it is his experience that most interracial marriages do not last long.
And if you aren’t already gasping with disbelief and shaking your head in disgust then this bit of information should do it..Bardwell has the audacity, to declare that his actions are justified and that’s he’s not racist at all since he has piles and piles of black friends AND..he even lets them use his bathroom! So that proves it right there! He’s not a raging racist at all because HE LETS BLACK PEOPLE USE HIS BATHROOM if he didn’t then and only then would we know that he’s a racist and a lunatic.
OMG!! WTF!!
You wanna know the real reason Bardwell refuses to marry interracial couples? It’s because he knows that sooner or later one of these interracial marriages, maybe even mine, is bound to spawn the devil’s offspring if we haven’t already with President Barack Obama!
You would never believe that 2010 is just a few weeks away.
Another Obama nominee with tax problems?
But this one has actually withdrawn her nomination.
Nancy Killefer was nominated by Obama back on January 7, for the post of Deputy Director for Management at the Office of Management and Budget (OMB). According to the White House Killefer has withdrawn but no other details have been reported.
MSNBC is reporting it’s due to tax issues. First there was Geithner, then Daschle now Killefer.
Killefer knew that she wouldn’t have been confirmed since she would’ve been the proverbial straw that broke the camel’s back. This is quite unfortunate since she would have been only the sixth woman in Obama’s cabinet.
But I have to ask again. What is it with these people and taxes?
Nobody likes to pay high taxes but as Holmes said, ” Taxes are what we pay for a civilized society.”
However, like Norah O’Donald of MSNBC I am left wondering ” Why isn’t the Obama administration fighting for her the same way they fought for the others? “
On the surface it just doesn’t seem fair and if she was forced to withdraw her nomination for a $1 000 tax problem than I think Daschle should do the same.
Obama’s first day at the White House…
I can’t believe it..

Can you believe this is happening?
All these fantastic changes..can you believe yesterday? All those people and not a single arrest according to reports NOT ONE!!!
Obama and his staff are hitting the ground running they aren’t playing no more secrecy, no more lobbyists and a pay freeze for his white house staff passivity be gone!
Doesn’t Obama’s first official day at the White House kinda remind you of your first day of school?
Well, it reminds me of my first day in Kindergarten ok he’s not going to be playing with crayons or learning the words to the wheels on the bus at least I don’t think so but you never know. Anyway, according to my parents the first day of school I jumped out of their arms and ran to the first bunch of kids I saw I didn’t even wave goodbye or look back at them and when they came to pick me up I asked ”Can I come again tomorrow?”
At least Obama doesn’t have to ask to come back tomorrow, I hope he and his staff have an awesome first day maybe one day I’ll know what it feels like to have a first day at the White House..maybe..
A change has finally come to American politics..

Obama and the white middle class, how to connect with and win them over if he can..
For the past few days I’ve been listening to the pundits discuss Obama’s speech and whether or not his speech connected with the average white working man or woman in the United States.
And if the pundits are to be believed Obama’s speech failed to or resonated very little with the average middle class woman or man and based on some recent polling Obama is slipping in the polls against Hillary and John McCain among democrats nationwide.
This fact is not surprising. With all the negative attention and flak Obama has received in regards to his pastor’s comments and his association with the pastor, Obama who was already lacking support in that demographic has sustained even more damage.
However, I believe that Obama can sway more working class white democrats to his side if he changes the way in which he is trying to connect with them.
At the moment Obama is hoping that his message and his delivery of that message will sway these voters and I’m sure his campaign staff, more knowledgeable people than myself, have already microtargeted this group however their strategies clearly aren’t working.
Obama may secure the nomination without significant support from these specific democrats but he cannot win the general election without them!
When discussing the American working class, I’m reminded of a passage from the book One Nation After All by Alan Wolfe in which he states;
“From a middle class point of view, the ideal society would be one in which everyone-immigrants, minorities, the poor-would uphold middle-class values so that someday they might obtain middle-class incomes..that’s another way of saying that their solution to class inequality is to insist on moral equality..”
And I must agree that this is what I have found to be the case as well.
Most white working class Americans want to believe that ultimately life is fair, you might get some bad breaks here and there but in the end if you work hard enough, follow the law, have faith in God and take pride in your country, family and community you will be a success.
They don’t believe most people are deserving of handouts or charity in large part due to their immigrant backgrounds which in many cases has taught them to suck up their problems and issues and just deal with them.
Unfortunately this is where the disconnect between Obama and his message to the white working class is occurring.
Obama’s values are not translating into their world instead what is translating is a perception that he’s receiving undeserving adulation. Many would probably claim that they don’t even know what he stands for and not his stance on the issues but what he stands for as a MAN and this in many ways is contributing to Clintons’ success among them.
Clinton has had the luxury of time to convey who she is and what she represents and her husband’s legacy doesn’t hurt either. Obama unfortunately has neither but I believe that if Obama talked about his life, his struggles, his demons,this would resonate more with working class whites more so than anything else he may have to offer, at this point in time.
If I were an Obama strategist (I’m hoping to get a call anyday now…lol) I would advise him to talk more about himself and and what he has been through when he’s in Pennsylvania and other predominantly white working class states because these voters are crucial to winning in November.
Undeservedly so, this week, millions of America started to question whether or not Obama shares one of their core values-patriotism.
However if voters and in particular white middle class voters perceive, long term that Obama does not share their core values (patriotism, faith in god, freedom just to name the critical three) he will be soundly defeated come November.
He cannot allow this to happen.
So in the end he must rely on who he is as a man to convince those who are skeptical of him of his policies and the direction in which he wants to take the nation.
That is what I believe will ultimately sway these voters to support and follow him.

How can we continue to live in a world where people, children are forced to eat mud, MUD to survive?
Everytime I think about this I feel sick to my stomach.
How did this happen?
How can we consume so much and yet give so little?
How can we ask so much of others yet ask nothing of our ourselves?
In a world where children are eating mud to survive..on this day, on this day February 3rd 2008 I vow to do more. More than just talk..more than just give the occasional charitable donation, more than just sitting on my computer blogging about the troubles of the world..I WILL DO SOMETHING, someway, somehow..I still don’t know what I’m going to do but something has got to change..if not for the majority, at least, at the very least for a few..
I refuse to sit and do nothing..I cannot..will not..what about you?
Hillary Clinton an agent of change only when it’s convenient…
Hillary says nobody has an advantage..please!!!! Bill was a clear advantage until more recently, and she wants to be judged on her own merit only when it’s necessary and vital and other times she wants to be judged as Bill Clinton’s wife. You can’t have it both ways. Or can you?
